Students: Students can get huge savings on zoo membership by showing their student ID. Get $25 off a year membership and $40 off a two year membership.
CAZA Member: Being a member of another CAZA zoo / aquarium will get you 50% off the ticket price at the zoo. Remember there are zoos all over North America that offer this discount as well.
Mini Cards When your traveling around Toronto in tourist areas or in your hotel be sure to look through the mini card kiosks. There are often times coupons and discounts on zoo admission prices or for the gift shop.
Online Ticket Purchases: Buying your zoo ticket online will get you a 10% discount to the gift shop inside the zoo.
Public Transportation: Show your Metro ticket at the front gate of the zoo and you will get 15% off admission tickets for you and up to 3 other people.
Air Miles: Most Canadian airline companies allow you to use air miles to purchase zoo tickets. Be sure the cost of such tickets is not higher than the use of those miles elsewhere, but most the time it will save you some money.

The zoo covers 710 acres and is the home to more than 5,000 animals from more than 450 species!
The zoo is broken up into regions. These regions feature animals from that particular part of the world and make the Toronto zoo experience one to remember.

The exhibits are created to match the amazing habitat of the animals as closely to the real thing as possible. This means the animals feel right at home and the viewers get to view the animals in as accurate of an environment you can see without actually traveling to that region of earth.
There are indoor exhibits, outdoor exhibits, exhibits with multiple viewing stations, exhibits with water, huge exhibits, small exhibits and just about everything you can imagine.
Beyond just showing off animals the zoo has incredible activities for kids. There is a Kids Zoo for them to visit. There is a Waterside Theatre and Splash Island which every kid will love, and most adults too.
The zoo is deeply involved with animal conservation and working with endangered species. Toronto zoo has worked with such animals as black footed ferrets, polar bears and endangered frogs.
